Student Instructions

Create a comic biography of an important person in black history. Show a significant event or action from this person's life in each panel, along with a descriptive caption. Be sure to use the eye, emotion and posing controls to bring this person to life!

Tip: You can design the subject of your biography from the Art Library tab in the Comic Builder - just click on 'My Characters' in the Collections List and then click the 'new character' button (the character with a question mark face) to open the character builder.

Teaching Tips

If there is a particular historical figure you want students to depict, you can design them from the Characters tab. That character will then automatically appear for all of your students in your class character list:
